This treatment center is very helpful for individuals looking for medication assisted rehabilitation from opioid dependency. There is one on one therapy sessions as well as group therapy, all of which is overseen by a medical doctor that specializes in the treatment of patients that struggle with addiction.

This clinic is all about how much work you are willing to put into your addiction. If you are serious about maintaining sobriety.. These people will go above and beyond their duty to help you acheive a sober and successful life.

I would give this place more stars BUT they make almost impossible to grt in to see the doctor so you can taper down and get completely off the drugs. Otherwise they go above and beyond to help you with your addiction. There's meetings for anything and everything that might be triggering your drug abuse. The counselors go out of their way even when off duty to help there "patients" cope with their addiction problems. Also to ensure that they continue to take steps in the right direction to not only overcome addiction but other problems in their lives hindering them from being successful. I've heard of counselors helping to find homes and meals for people. They truly truly care about you here. If it wasn't for the issue with the doctors availability this would be a five star facility. I am truly thankful for the work these people to do on a daily basis. If not wasn't for them many people would be dead or have their lives ruined by their choice to abuse drugs. The people of Wausau and myself thank you for the lives you've saved and the families you've protected.

Next month I will have my third year clean from my crippling opioid addiction. For me there was no other choice. Coming here or ending up in a grave. Staff are nice and caring, and the counselors are actually there for you when you need them. Think about it. If you were in anywhere near the trouble I was in what do you really have to lose.

I have learned Sobriety, Self Worth, Addiction is not just a problem it is a disease and this treatment makes me not want opiates anymore, it has taught me there is more to life than drugs, I am healthier, I have enrolled in college, I am getting my own house, I went from having a lot in life to rock bottom, than Wausau CTC gave me my freedom, friends and my life back I am so HAPPY, Thanks Wausau Treatment Team and I would recommend this to anyone who has an opiate addiction!!!!!
